After buying Oculus Rift for $2 billion in form of cash, stocks etc., Facebook is now eyeing to make money from the investment. Facebook is now in talks with Hollywood studios about making feature films especially for Oculus Rift according to The Information.

Oculus Rift was initially focused on gamers but it seems that Hollywood too is interested in it.
Legendary pictures has recently entered into some agreement, thanks to its Pacific Rim Franchise. At the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con Legendary Pictures allowed you to pilot a Jaeger from its Pacific Rim franchise, and Fox included the Oculus Rift to let you experience Cerebro from their X-Men movies.

Well, Facebook has still not made any announcements regarding any specific time when Oculus Rift will be launched for the consumers.
